The 36-inch Robot is designed with the city in mind. The 26-inch wheelbase is very lively with a tight turning radius.
The stiffness of 8-ply maple gives riders tons of leverage over the trucks for ultimate control and turnability, yet the drop-through design lowers the center of gravity, increasing stability and slide-ablity.
The board is designed with turning in mind. You will have no problem with 75mm wheels and any 50-degree truck (including Paris and Caliber 50s), and 42-degree trucks will work great with any 70mm wheel.
The Robot 36 also makes use of Bustin's Slide Rail System, which allows for slightly less foot-cramping concave when compared to other decks but increases grip by adding an extra edge to contact the foot. Finally, you'll notice the Robot has a notch taken out of the middle of the deck on either side. This both lightens the deck and provides for a safe and secure spot on the board to footbrake at high speeds.
