De Powerslide Beta Inline Skate Frames 243
De Beta Frames hebben een steekmaat van 165mm en zijn gemaakt van een 6061 aircrafted aluminium.

CNC machined to perfection; single axle system with torx head and M7 standard; 165mm across mounting; laser print
- The Beta frame is made by a double voided extrusion. It´s a “classic” style extrusion that offers enhanced stiffness due to the multi layer frame construction. The structure of the sidewalls enhances the stability and stiffness of the frame.
- Aluminium alloys are alloys in which aluminium (Al) is the predominant metal. The typical alloying elements are copper, magnesium, manganese, silicon and zinc. The 6061 aircraft aluminium we use for the Beta frame contains more magnesium and silizium which gives the material more elasticity which is easy to work with. It has less tensile strength than 7000 series aluminium; important for the strength and rigidity of the frames. The frame is also T6 heat treated.
- The frame is built very similarly to its big brother, the Alpha aluminium frame. We just simplified the frame slightly. The frame is also well balanced and very stiff. The range of Beta frames covers 219mm, 231mm and 243mm length. The Beta frame got his extraordinary look from the nice CNC finish and perfect laser prints. A special detail are the scales along the side of the mounting slots, but also placed on front and rear to help the skater to adjust his frame-boot set up. The Beta frame features the 165mm mounting standard. It comes with standard single axles with torx head featuring nice laser prints. The torx head has the advantage that the axles do not get round too easy compared with regular hex axles. The combination of the across slot in the frame and the along slot in our boots is called the X-Slot Mounting. This system enables the skater to adjust the boot-frame setup without any dead spot according to his skating style and preferences.
